Optical fibres are connected to a light source where the light is projected through the cable. The light emanating from the cable is a cold light, and thus no electricity and no heat is in the fibre optic cable. This makes this product versatile in any application.

End Emitting fibre cables are used when the light needs to be from 1 point, eg downlights, this produces maximum light to 1 or more fittings. Side Emitting fibre cables are used in rope lighting applications as a feature around buildings and swimming pools.
